Kinesiology – Leicester – October 2014

Kinesiology is the art of evaluating muscle responses to determine imbalances in the body. It is a non-intrusive holistic therapy that supports health and well-being. Practitioners are drawn to kinesiology as an assessment tool to help unravel health conditions and determine what the body needs and what it can utilise best.

The Classical Kinesiology Institute offers a variety of kinesiology training courses, suitable for beginners and upwards. They present a Diploma course in Kinesiology and Naturopathy which is suitable for anyone wishing to become a kinesiology practitioner in their own right.  All their courses are recognised by the Kinesiology Federation.

For any further information, please contact the Classical Kinesiology Institute directly.  Telephone: 0116 2661962 (from the UK) or email: [email protected]

CAM Therapies – more cost effective than conventional

Data published in the Netherlands, based on research led by Dr Erik W Baars from the University of Applied Sciences Leiden, shows that patients who attended doctors who recommended CAM therapies in addition to conventional medicine had reduced overall costs slightly in excess of 10% over those who utilised conventional medicine alone. The mortality rate was no different for either branch. The data was based on information provided by AEGIS, a major health insurance company. In those difficult budgetary times policy makers might find it useful to review this research. Read more.
